Joyce joined Northeastern in the fall of 1997 as a Lutheran Campus Minister and University Spiritual Advisor. A 1999 graduate of Harvard Divinity School, Joyce has a particular interest in helping students link faith and spirituality with social justice, community outreach and intersectional identities. She also works at West Concord Union Church in Concord, MA and is the co-founder of the DEIB organization COAR (Communities Organizing Against Racism). Joyce was previously a teacher and basketball coach in CT and ME. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, exploring ocean beaches, walking in nature and spending time with her family.
